Granite is one of the most heat resistant substances on the planet, so you can rest assured that your hot pots and pans will not be a problem.
Can you scratch a granite worktop?
Granite is a very hard stone, comprised mainly of quartz and feldspar. It is one of the hardest substances known to man, and is resistant to the usual wear and tear of a kitchen such as scratching or scuffing.
